Single & Gold Membership
Members of the association may be natural and juristic persons. Natural persons are registered as single members. Single members may be elected as honorary members by a resolution of the conference of members.
Collective Members
The collective member shall indicate a contact person to whom such correspondence as is addressed to all members is sent in a single copy. All individual members of the collective membership shall enjoy the same benefits as the single members.
Sponsor Members
Sponsor members are collective members who also have the right to use the attribute "Sponsor member" for advertisement purposes. The executive board may grant special prerogatives to sponsor members.
General Information & Legal status
The executive board shall decide on the acceptance and expulsion of a member. The decision can be contested within a period of one month at the conference of members through the executive board.
Termination of membership
Membership is terminated through withdrawal, that must be communicated to the executive board in writing and take effect on its receipt; through a lapse of purpose in relation to the terms of positions held by death in the case of natural persons. A member may be expelled from the association by a resolution of the executive board, if there is a serious breach of the charter of association. The member may object to the expulsion at the executive board. Until the final decision by the conference of members, all membership rights and obligations shall be waived.
Finances and dues
Membership dues shall be charged and the amount shall be specified in a resolution of the conference of members adopted by a simple majority; sponsoring members may also make their membership contribution in kind. The complete annual membership fees shall be paid within one month of the disclosure of registration and athereafter, once a year in advance until the 31.03. of the year. No proportional rate of the annual dues shall be refunded upon the termination of membership. The annual membership fees shall be:
- Single members: 500 Euro/Person
- Collective members (1): 1200 Euro basic charge for 3 members +200 Euro for every futher member
- Sponsor members Basic (2): 2000 Euro/Company
- Sponsor members Silver(3): 4000 Euro/Company
- Sponsor members Gold (4): 5000 Euro/Company
- Sponsor members Platinum (5): 10000 Euro/Company

Liability
The liability of the association (R.B.U.G.) is limited to its assets. It does not extend to the individual members beyond the agreed dues and charges. For damages occurring in the course of the activities of the association, the association (R.B.U.G.) shall be liable only when proof of deliberate or wanton negligence is furnished. For damages occurring in the operations of the association (R.B.U.G.), the association (R.B.U.G.) shall, irrespective of the legal background, assume no liability toward the members.
Dissolution
The R.B.U.G. shall be dissolved through a resolution of the conference of members. In case of the dissolution or suspension of R.B.U.G. or a lapse of purpose in its hitherto applicable inaugural objectives, the assets shall be assigned to a public-law corporation or to a corporation duly recognized as tax-favored for usage for scientific purposes. All forms of usage of assets or financial benefits on members of the association is ruled out. Resolutions on the usage of the assets upon dissolution or suspension of the R.B.U.G. or a lapse of purpose in its hitherto applicable objectives, shall be adopted only after the approval of the local tax office.
Legal remedy
Against an expulsion or termination as well as non-acceptance for registration, the affected member may seek to have the decision of the conference of members. Should this organ fail to override the contested measure with a majority vote of the members present, further legal recourse shall be ruled out. Until a decision is reached by the conference of members, all membership rights except the right to participate in the following conference shall be waived. German laws shall apply to the R.B.U.G.
